Faulty Inverter Replacement
We replaced a faulty AC coupled with a modern replacement in Bracknell, Berkshire. The old unit which sat alongside a PV string inverter with a Feed in tariff had finally stopped working.
Our works involved the installation & setup of a new Solis Inverter which sole function is to store surplus Solar PV energy generated by the panels and allow this to be consumed by the property as required.
When we hooked up the inverter to the attached Pylontech batteries, the state of charge had dropped so low we had to conduct a charging procedure to return them to service.
The new inverter came with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty as standard which our customer increased to 10 years for a small additional fee to the manufacturer.
The new inverter connects to the Web allowing the customer to see the battery charge & be altered to any issues with the system.
