We have been working on this project since the summer, our customer Chris & Lisa were completing a full house refurbishment and wanted a suitable system to support their energy efficient house.
On this project we managed to fit 16 solar panels in roof, which in this East-West orientation will generate around 4500kWh per year, the project already had scaffolding, and a new roof was being fitted so it was the perfect time to fit these in roof panels.
You can see the in-roof system just needs a few extra battens putting in and then sits inside the tiles or slates surrounded by a flashing kit.

As mentioned above, the system is coupled to a Sigenergy Gateway which allows to control of dedicated loads so that solar PV energy can be diverted to these when surplus energy is generated, it also keeps the house operational in the event of a grid power cut.
The Sigenergy system comes as standard with a 10-year manufacturer warranty, AI Built in to ensure the most efficient consumption of electricity.
