Solar Panel Installations - Typically begin with a telephone consultation followed by a technical site survey. We undertake projects for both domestic and commercial customers. To help us design the most suitable system, we will require the installation address and, where available, information on your annual electricity consumption. Smart meter data or electricity bills covering the previous 12 months can be particularly helpful. This information allows us to understand your energy usage patterns and recommend a system tailored to your property's needs.
Additional Solar Panels & System Upgrades - Already have solar panels installed? We can assess your existing system, add additional panels where appropriate, test system performance, and upgrade or replace inverters, batteries and other components.
Lead Times - For solar PV systems up to 3.68kW export capacity, prior approval from the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) is not normally required. For larger systems, approval may be required before installation can proceed. approval times vary depending on the DNO and project requirements but are currently typically between 4 and 6 weeks.
Battery Storage - Battery storage systems can store excess solar energy for use later in the day and can help increase the use of off-peak electricity tariffs where suitable. During the design process, we will explain the potential benefits and limitations based on your individual circumstances.
